MATS University to host National seminar from 16th February

Raipur. A two-day national seminar on the topic ‘Vriddha Vimarsh: Kal, Aaj aur Kal’ is being organized by the Hindi Department of MATS University, Raipur on 16 and 17 February 2024. Famous litterateurs, subject experts, researchers and students of the country including Chhattisgarh are participating in this seminar organized with the aim of increasing awareness in the society towards respecting the elderly while taking steps towards discharging social duties.
Dr. Reshma Ansari, Head of the Hindi Department of MATS University, said that the country’s senior women litterate Alka Saraogi and Manisha Kulshrestha along with Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University Vice Chancellor Prof. were invited guests in this seminar. Sachchidanand Shukla, senior litterateur Dr. Prem Bhardwaj Gyanbhikshu (Delhi), Dr. Sudhir Sharma, Dr. Sushil Trivedi, Prof. RS Kuril will be present. In this seminar, research papers on many topics related to old age will be presented by subject experts, professors and researchers of the country. The sub-topics of the seminar included ‘Old Age Discussion in Hindi Literature’, ‘Changing Social Values ​​and Old Age Discussion’, ‘Old Age Discussion in Historical Scenario’, ‘Social Problem and Solution of Elderly in India’, ‘Old Age Discussion: Conflict of Tradition and Modernity’, ‘Aging Issues: Psychological, Family, Economic, Political and Value Based Dimensions’, ‘Role of Government in Making Life of Older People Happy’, ‘Legal Provisions and Schemes for Older Persons’, ‘Problem of Old Age Life in the World and Their Solution ‘, ’21st century old age: tragedy’, ‘An analysis of the problems of urban and rural old people’, ‘Social problems of old people reflected in Hindi literature’, ‘Old age discussion in contemporary poetry’, ‘Old people depicted in contemporary Hindi fiction. Life Problems’, ‘Old Age and Role of NGOs’. A souvenir will also be released in the inaugural session of the seminar.
