Recruitment process of specialist doctors in Health Department on the instructions of Chief Minister

Raipur. On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the recruitment process of medical officers and specialist doctors has been started in the state. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has informed in the Assembly today that 246 MBBS doctors who recently completed their degrees have been posted as Medical Officer and 21 doctors have been posted as expert doctors. Fifty percent of these doctors will serve in remote areas in Bastar and Surguja divisions.

The Health Minister has said that if an MBBS doctor or specialist doctor apply against it in any hospital under the National Health Mission Scheme, he will get an appointment from the state government within 24 hours.

Mr. Jaiswal has said that there are more than 5 thousand posts of 5 thousand posts from lower employees in the health department, which will soon be filled through Vyapam and PSC.

Shri Jaiswal has said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, doctors are going to be appointed to the Health Department Primary Health Centers so that health facilities can be provided to the common people and people living in remote areas.
