PIMR hosts an expert session on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s leadership

Indore. The Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Dewas organized an expert session on the leadership qualities of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Dr.Dipaali Pulekar, a leadership coach and consultant from Haward University while talking about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Leadership -An Ageless Inspiration, shared her perspectives on how Maharaj Shivaji’s leadership style can be translated into management.

Dr Ashima Joshi , Deputy Director, PIMR, Dewas, said that Shivaji Maharaj, the Maratha ruler, epitomized exceptional leadership qualities that continue to inspire generations. His visionary leadership was characterized by strategic foresight, courage, and a deep sense of empathy. She said that Shivaji Maharaj’s ability to think strategically allowed him to envision long-term goals and devise innovative tactics to achieve them, much like successful managers in today’s dynamic business environment. His courage in the face of adversity serves as a timeless lesson for aspiring leaders, encouraging them to confront challenges head-on and persevere despite obstacles, Dr. Ashima added.
The session was conducted by Prof.Aditi Pandey, while Prof. Bhagyashree Sendhav proposed a vote of thanks. The session was attended by all faculty members and students, along with other scholars; they all gained a different perspective on leadership.
