Congress’s first list of Lok Sabha candidates
1 min readNew Delhi. Before the Lok Sabha elections, the alliance between Samajwadi Party and Congress has been finalized. Congress will field its candidates on 17 seats for the Lok Sabha elections in UP. The probable names of the 17 seats on which Congress will contest its candidates in UP have also been revealed. It is believed that Congress may soon finalize the names of 17 seats in UP.
In the joint press conference for SP-Congress alliance in UP, UP Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey said that it is a fight to save the culture of the country. There are 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP, out of which Congress will support 17 seats and Congress will support other candidates of India Alliance on the remaining 63 seats.

After the announcement of SP-Congress alliance in UP, UP Congress President Avinash Pandey had said that the India alliance is capable of removing BJP from power. Along with this, he said that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has repeatedly said that in 2014, BJP had come from UP only and in 2024, BJP will go out of power from here only.
