SC sents notice to ED on bail plea of AAP MP Sanjay Singh

Delhi. The Supreme Court has sent a notice to the Enforcement Directorate seeking its response on the bail plea of Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who is jailed in the money laundering case of Delhi liquor scam.
A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Dutta issued notice to the investigating agency on the petition filed by Sanjay Singh challenging the Delhi High Court order. Delhi High Court had refused to grant him bail in the case. The bench tagged the bail plea with another plea of Sanjay Singh, in which he has challenged his arrest and remand in a money laundering case.
