CM Sai to inaugurate two-day Climate Change Conclave
1 min readRaipur. The Department of Forest and Climate Change, Chhattisgarh Government, is organising a two-day Climate Change Conclave at a private hotel in Raipur on March 5 and 6. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will grace the event as the chief guest. The experts will discuss the topic of the global challenges of climate change and its adverse impacts. They will share their experiences and insights into the topic. It will witness the participation of the 15 states and various national-level institutions. This conclave will pave the way for a greener Chhattisgarh in the era of sustainability.
It is noteworthy that due to the adverse effects of climate change, challenges such as irregular rainfall, prolonged droughts, cyclonic rainfall, and shifting monsoon seasons are being faced by countries worldwide as well as by states and regions within the country. The conclave will be organised by the Chhattisgarh State Centre for Climate Change, which is a nodal body in the state working on state action plans on climate change and related topics. This workshop will prove to be very useful for the state’s role and future plans in dealing with the challenges of climate change.
