Raigarh . In Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Amar Aggarwal shot the block coordinator of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The victim received three bullets in the chest. After this, he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The matter is of Kharsia police station area.
According to the information, Amar Aggarwal has also contested elections from Kharsia Assembly on AAP ticket. It is being told that the injured Gopal Giri and Amar Aggarwal are having a land dispute since 2019. The AAP leader has fled after the incident.
It is being told that on earlier also there was a dispute regarding land between Amar Aggarwal and Kharsia resident Gopal Giri. It is alleged that when the dispute escalated, Amar Aggarwal opened fire. After this he ran away. People took Gopal to the local hospital, but seeing his condition was serious, he was referred to Raigarh Medical College.
Gopal’s father Shankar Giri Goswami told that he lives in ward no. of Kharsia. 15 are residents of. His son was standing on the government land behind the house. Meanwhile, Amar Aggarwal came and told Gopal to move away from this land. When Gopal refused, a scuffle broke out between the two.
After this Amar Aggarwal opened fire on Gopal. According to Gopal’s father, fire was fired four times. Gopal’s city scan is being done, after that it will be known where the bullets have hit. The injured’s father also said that RI, Patwari and Tehsildar were also present at the spot at the time of the incident.
Kharsia SDOP Prabhat Patel said that Amar Aggarwal, who opened fire, is absconding after the incident. The police team has reached the spot and is investigating. People nearby are being interrogated.
Prabhat Patel said that there was a land dispute going on between two brothers, today demarcation was to be done in that land, under which the police and Patwari were about to reach the spot, before that a third person has carried out this incident.
