Upasana Seva Foundation honors women working in social sector

Raipur. In World Women’s Day, a seminar was organized by Upasana Seva Foundation at Triloki Maa Kali Mandir, Dr. Rajendra Nagar, Raipur in which a total of 43 women including 13 Mitaneen actively participated. Apart from this, workers of organizations like Triloki Maa Kalibari Committee, Sant Shiromani Ravidas Mahila Group, Panchsheel Buddhist Sangh etc. were also present on this auspicious occasion.
The main speaker in the seminar was Suchitra Bardhan, who has been working in the District and Sessions Court Raipur for the last 20 years. Due to his interest in social work, he spares time for many social works like adopting schools, actively participating in Vanbandhu Parishad and being a member of Legal Services Committee, he keeps providing free legal assistance to many disabled people etc. Due to such work in the interest of society, she has been honored with many awards like Sangharshsheel Mahila Award, Nari Shakti Award etc.
Secretary of Triloki Maa Kalibari Committee, Vivek Bardhan ji, President of Panchsheel Buddha Sangh, Aruna Meshram and Monica Bagrecha from Green Army were present as special guests in the program. Also, the program was presided over by Ratikant Sahu, President of Upasana Seva Foundation.
The programme started with garlanding the picture of Bharat Mata. After the introduction of the guests, the guests were honored by the members of Upasana Seva Foundation and Sant Shiromani Ravidas Mahila Group. After that, the address of the special guests was received. Aruna Meshram said that on the issues of education, health etc. We all women need to work unitedly. While wishing Mahashivratri, Monica Bagrecha ji said that just as Lord Shiva is incomplete without power, in the same way all women are also important who recognize their importance and use their power to run the household as well as in the service of society and Mother Earth . In his presidential address, Ratikant Sahu encouraged all the women social workers and urged all the sisters present in the programme to work more actively in the society for social awareness. While giving a brief introduction of Upasana Seva Foundation, the Chairman said that among the main objectives of the organization, women’s upliftment is at the top, for which we are fully engaged in empowering the women of every section of the society in every aspect and for this only, the organization is being formed. Every volunteer is committed and determined.
After the address of the keynote speaker, Mitanin and all the 43 women working in social sectors were honored with valuable sarees and in the end Vivek Bardhan thanked all the parents present, all the organizations and all the workers involved in making the program successful. Expressing this, we all need to do more work for women’s safety and upliftment, for which we all will definitely work actively in the society with Upasana Seva Foundation.
