CONGRESS GUARANTEE: 30 lakh jobs, if voted to power in Center

Climbing the bandwagon of the word “guarantee”, Congress has taken initiative to assure 30 lakh jobs to the country’s youth, if voted to power in the center in the coming Loksabha elections. The party has alleged that growing unemployment in the country has become the cause of concern among the youths, who are grappling with the prevailing unemployment situation.
Addressing a press conference, Deepak Baij, president Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee and Member of Parliament, said that unemployment among the youths is at an alarming rate, which has become a concern.
He said that unemployment is one of the biggest problems in the country today. The Congress Party realizes that the development of the country is possible at a fast pace only when the youth power of the country is fully utilised, there is work in every hand and no youth is unemployed, with this objective our National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has promised that if the Congress government is formed, the Congress government will provide employment generation and job security in the country. For this, Rahul Gandhi has announced youth justice in 5 phases.
Congress guarantees that it will generate (create) 30 lakh jobs in the Central Government, as per the published employment calendar. 10 lakh sanctioned posts are vacant in Central Ministries/Departments.
There are other vacancies in health, education, police and army. We will also create new jobs, details of which will be outlined in our party’s manifesto.
Congress enacts a new Apprenticeship Guarantee Act to provide a one-year apprenticeship in a private or public sector company to every diploma holder or college graduate under the age of 25. Trainees will get Rs 1 lakh per year (₹8,500/month).
Also Congress guarantees new laws to ensure the highest standards of honesty and fairness in the conduct of public examinations which will prevent paper leaks from destroying the future of crores of youth, added Baij.

Elaborating on the election manifesto, Baij informed that Congress promise will create a fund of Rs 5,000 crore, which will be allocated to all the districts of the country for a period of five years. Young people under 40 years of age can avail start-up funding for their business ventures in any sector.
The government’s existing schemes, such as the Rs 10,000 crore fund-of-funds scheme, benefit only elite investors and top institutions. Most of the youth of India are not able to take advantage of these opportunities. We will ensure geographical diversification of opportunities.
He laid emphasis that Congress is guaranteed to enact legislation to ensure better working conditions and social security for the millions of youth who find employment in the gig economy every year.
N.C.A.E.R. Gig workers earn less than other workers, according to the data, and their income has also declined between 2019 – 2022. Congress passes Rajasthan Platform-Based Gig Workers Act in 2023.
