Chief Minister interacted with women during his ‘Labharti Sampark Abhiyan’
2 min readRaipur. The Mahtari Vandan Yojana has brought immense joy to women throughout the state, including the capital, Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai interacted with eligible women who received the first installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana at Durga Nagar in Raipur. Women stated that the scheme has brought happiness into their lives. Chief Minister Sai visited Durga Nagar in New Rajendra Nagar during his ‘Labharti Sampark Abhiyan’ program to assess the status of the implementation of various government schemes.
Women were greatly impressed by the simple, humble, and amiable personality of Chief Minister Sai. Chief Minister Sai met with the members of women’s associations, including members of the Chhattisgarhiya Mahila Mandal, Adivasi Mahila Mandal and Telugu Mahila Mandal, as well as Meera Sahu, Pushpa Dhruw, Savitri Deep, Swati Rao, Santoshi Rao, and Jamuna Soni.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Sai inquired about the first installment received by eligible women through DBT under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana initiated by the Chhattisgarh Government. Women shared that an amount of Rs. 1000 has been credited to their accounts. Many women expressed their happiness and showed the messages they received on their mobile phones to the Chief Minister.
During the discussion with women, Chief Minister Sai inquired about the benefits being received by beneficiaries under various schemes, including LPG Cylinder Connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, construction of toilets under the Swachh Bharat Mission, pucca houses, social security pensions, and schemes for street vendors. Women mentioned that through the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, their kitchens underwent a transformative change, and now they can prepare meals for their families effortlessly. They are receiving gas cylinders on time, which is helping them immensely.
During his interaction with women, Chief Minister Shri Sai inquired if there were any issues with accessing government schemes. In response, women stated that they were easily benefiting from the schemes. They also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for ensuring timely delivery of the benefits of government schemes. Chief Minister interacted with over 300 women from Durga Nagar and surrounding areas during the ‘Labharti Sampark Abhiyan’.
Former Rajya Sabha MP Bhushan Lal Jangde, former MLA Ram Bharti, Santosh Jain, A.L. Joshi, S.K. Sonwani, Shyam , R.P. Tandon, Shankar Sonwani, Kuldeep Jangde, Vinod Bharti, and a large number of dignitaries were present.
