Officers, employees employed in election work will get free medical facility

Raipur, For the Lok Sabha General Election – 2024, free medical facility will be provided to the officers and employees employed in election work in all the government hospitals of the state. According to the order issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department, in case of non-availability of necessary health facilities in the government hospitals of the state or in case of emergency, officers and employees will be able to get their treatment in 3 private hospitals in the capital Raipur and 2 outside the state.

It is noteworthy that for the purpose of successfully conducting the Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha General Election 2024, officers and employees of various departments have been put on duty on the instructions of the Commission. Free medical facility will be provided in all the government hospitals of the state for the officers and employees ordered in the election work.

Hospitals in the state and outside the state have also been identified to provide free medical facility in case of non-availability of necessary facilities in government hospitals or in case of emergency. Within the state, treatment facilities will be available at Shri Balaji Hospital Mowa, Shri Narayana Hospital Devendra Nagar Raipur and Ramkrishna Care Hospital Pachpedi Naka Raipur located in the capital Raipur. Similarly, outside the state, treatment facilities will be available at Care Hospital in Hyderabad and Apollo Hospital in Visakhapatnam.
