Bhupesh Baghel furious at BJP for FIR against Kawasi Lakhma

Jagdalpur (Team Newsbuddy): Former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said Congress will win all 11 seats in the state in upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He accused BJP of misusing central agencies. After FIR was filed against Congress candidate Kawasi Lakhma from Bastar Lok Sabha seat of Chhattisgarh, political turmoil has started in the state. Former Chief Minister of the state Bhupesh Baghel, who reached Bastar on , termed the action of the District Election Commission to file FIR against Kawasi Lakhma as wrong.

Bhupesh Baghel said that bags with photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are being distributed in all government shops of the state, but the administration is not considering it a violation of the code of conduct and is not taking any action.

Former CM Bhupesh Baghel took a dig at this action and said that FIR is being filed against the Congress District President and candidate by making false allegations of distributing notes against Kawasi Lakhma. Bhupesh Baghel alleged that there is a double engine government at the center and the state. In such a situation, their police in both the center and the state are taking action wherever they want.

He said, “BJP has made Mahesh Kashyap a scapegoat by giving him a ticket, Kawasi Lakhma is a senior Congress leader in Bastar and a 6-time MLA. The whole of Bastar knows Kawasi Lakhma.

‘ Nobody knows the BJP candidate’

Regarding the BJP candidate from Bastar, former CM Bhupesh Baghel said, “Nobody knows BJP candidate Mahesh Kashyap from Bijapur to Konta and Dantewada assembly. Even those who do politics do not know the BJP candidate, in such a situation, BJP is daydreaming of its victory.” Bhupesh Baghel once again called Congress leader Shiv Narayan Dwivedi a sleeper cell.

He said, “Who is Shiv Narayan Dwivedi? I don’t know, but some people are acting as BJP agents and working like sleeper cells and making statements on the direction of BJP leaders, although this is not going to make any difference to the Congress.”

Accusing the central government, Bhupesh Baghel said, “Governments are being toppled by misusing ED in the entire country, Chief Ministers of Jharkhand and Delhi are being arrested. Democracy is being murdered.” Regarding the Lok Sabha elections, he said, “This is not a general election but a special election. This fight is not of Congress but of the entire 140 crore people of the country who believe in democracy and the Constitution.”

Bhupesh makes allegations against BJP

On the question of many big Congress leaders joining BJP recently, former CM Bhupesh Baghel alleged that BJP is inducting Congress MLAs, MPs and officials into its fold by threatening them with police, ED and sometimes with money. Despite this, BJP MPs are returning their tickets and joining Congress. Claiming victory on all 11 seats of Chhattisgarh in the Lok Sabha elections, Bhupesh Baghel said that Congress will win most of the seats.
