2 min read

Raipur. Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the Sai government has released the first installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in view of the Lok Sabha elections. As soon as the elections are over, this scheme will be closed by imposing a lot of rules and regulations in the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, like during the Raman government, one installment of bonus was given to the farmers in view of the elections, after which the bonus was not given for 4 years. There are more than one crore three lakh women voters in the state who have been deprived of this scheme by imposing rules and conditions and out of all the women who have submitted the form, only 30 percent of the women have been given the installment amount. And those who have been given the installment amount. Among them, the number of women receiving old age pension and desertion pension is more and now those women have been given only Rs 1000 under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The amount of pension that was being given earlier has been stopped. This is a sheer fraud and deception with the women of the state.

Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that it has been four months since the formation of the Sai government. Women were supposed to get Rs 4000 under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana but only Rs 1000 has been given. 70 percent of the women who filled the form for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana are still making rounds of the bank, the money has not come in their account.

Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the Sai government is claiming that they have deposited Rs 648 crore in the accounts of 100 percent women. But that money has not gone into the accounts of women, so where has the money gone? This is an indication of a scam of crores in the name of Mahtari Yojana.
