Raipur. The Congress Law Department complained to the Chief Election Commissioner for an immediate stay on the new order issued by the Chhattisgarh Government regarding the abolition of 30 percent discount in the rate of land guideline.

It has been said in the memorandum that at present the Model Code of Conduct is in force in the whole of India, in such a situation, there is a need to immediately stop the new order issued by the Chhattisgarh Government regarding the abolition of 30 percent discount in the rate of land guideline because the code of conduct is applicable in the entire state of Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, the Chhattisgarh Government does not have the right to issue a new guideline by removing the rate of any type of guideline during the Model Code of Conduct, which is a violation of the Model Code of Conduct. In Madhya Pradesh also, under the Model Code of Conduct, the State Election Commission has banned the new order related to the above mentioned land guidelines.

Therefore, it is requested that the above mentioned issues should be banned immediately and appropriate action should be taken against the concerned and information should be provided about the said action.

Congress Legal Department State President Deva Devangan, State Congress Senior Spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur, Surendra Verma, Rishabh Chandrakar were present in the memorandum.
