Ghulam Nabi Azad to contest from Anantnag-Rajouri seat

Jammu :. The contest on Anantnag Rajori seat, considered to be the hottest seat among the five Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir, is going to be interesting. Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) President Ghulam Nabi Azad is going to contest from Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat. This announcement was made by DPAP treasurer Taj Mohiuddin during a press conference in Srinagar.

In the year 2022, Ghulam Nabi Azad separated from Congress and formed his own party in Jammu and Kashmir, which got the name Democratic Progressive Azad Party. Ghulam Nabi has fielded GM Saruri from Udhampur-Doda seat. In such a situation, two candidates from his party have come out in the Lok Sabha election field of Jammu and Kashmir so far.
