PCC submits memorandum to Chief Electoral Officer

Raipur. A complaint has been made to the Chief Electoral Officer, Raipur, Reena Baba Saheb Kangale against the Home Minister of Chhattisgarh Government, Vijay Sharma, for violating the Model Code of Conduct.

The State Congress Committee’s complaint states that at present the Model Code of Conduct is in force in the whole of India, in such a situation, the Home Minister of Chhattisgarh Government, Vijay Sharma, under his leadership, violated the Model Code of Conduct and tried to break into the residence of the Leader of Opposition of Chhattisgarh State, Dr. Charandas Mahant, by breaking the door of the bungalow with a crowd of BJP leaders , workers, which is highly condemnable. The Chhattisgarh Police stood silent as a mute spectator during the said demonstration. In such a situation, the said protest by the Home Minister of Chhattisgarh himself is a gross violation of the dignity of his post and a violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

From which officer did the Home Minister take permission for the said protest and on what basis did he give permission for the protest at the residence of the Leader of the Opposition during the Model Code of Conduct.

There is a demand for immediate legal, appropriate action against Home Minister Vijay Sharma for violating the Model Code of Conduct. Also, till the Lok Sabha elections are going on, Home Minister Vijay Sharma should be dismissed from the post of Minister. There is a request to inform the State Congress Committee about the said action.
