People joins at Niagara Falls to see solar eclipse
1 min readToronto: People gathered around Niagara Falls to see the solar eclipse in Canada. Park officials of Niagara Falls said that a large number of people were present here.
The temperature here is around 10 degrees Celsius and people have waited for the eclipse here in blankets and jackets.
People in Dallas, Indianapolis, Cleveland and Buffalo in America also saw the solar eclipse.
The moon is 400 times closer to the Earth than the Sun, but the moon is also 400 times smaller than the Sun in size.
In the book named Totality, author Mark Litman writes that if the moon was 273 kilometers smaller or farther in diameter, then people would not have been able to see such a lunar eclipse right now.
Due to this, when the moon comes between the Sun and the Earth as a point in a straight line, it covers the Sun and we see the eclipse.
