Upasana Seva Foundation hosts free health checkup camp
1 min readRaipur. On the occasion of World Health Day, on 7th April 2024, Upasana Seva Foundation organized a free health checkup camp in B.S.U.P. Colony, Bhantgaon, with the technical support of Sri Jagannath Multispecialty Hospital, in which people from all sections of the colony participated enthusiastically. Experienced doctors conducted all types of tests and provided them with proper consultation and free medicines.
In economically backward areas, where people earn their livelihood by working hard all day, they neither have enough money to get their health checked nor enough time to leave their work or business and go to the health center. That is why Upasana Seva Foundation organized this free health camp with the aim of understanding their actual health condition, providing medicines accordingly at their residence and providing free consultation by appropriate doctors.
In this health check-up camp, arrangements were made by the workers of Upasana Seva Foundation for testing nutritional status, blood pressure and blood sugar, in which the residents of the colony took benefit of this program by getting their health checked. In this camp, first of all the workers of Upasana Seva Foundation collected basic information like name, age, educational status and occupation etc. for the registration of the colony residents. Thereafter, further tests were conducted by the doctors. Along with that, the height and weight of the people of every age group were measured by the workers to find out the nutritional status.
