Accident at Shivnath bridge: Car collides with truck, woman dies

Bhilai (Team Newsbuddy). A major accident took place on the Shivnath river bridge in Durg on Sunday around 4:30 am . A truck number CG 15 DM 0901 was going from Durg to Rajnandgaon was hit a black Creta car number CG 07 CN 2577 coming from the opposite direction. A woman travelling in the car died in the accident. After receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and took the other injured to hospital.

According to the information received, the accident took place at 4:30 am on Sunday. As per report the speed of the car was very high and there was no complete light in the vehicle. The truck was going towards Rajnandgaon when the accident happened. After the collision, the airbags of the car also opened. Prashant Pandey and a woman named Meena Singh were in the car. They were returning from Rajnandgaon. After receiving information about the accident, Pulgaon police reached the spot and took both the injured car passengers to the district hospital. The woman named Meena Singh was in a very serious condition and was taken to Shankaracharya Medical College where she died. At present, the police is investigating the accident.
