Double success for Indore’ s Anya in national competition

Indore: Anya Rathi and Trishir Dhawan of Madhya Pradesh performed well in the scorching heat and won the title in the Daily College Open All India Ranking Tennis Tournament. Anya achieved double success by winning the trophy in singles as well as doubles category, while Trishir could not achieve double success by losing in the doubles final.
The prize distribution of the competition was held under the hospitality of Additional Collector Sapna Lovanshi and Principal of Daily College Gunmeet Bindra. The program was conducted by Ayra Lodhi. In the girls’ 12 years age singles final, Anya Rathi, resident of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, faced Ritika Deshpande of Maharashtra. Since both the players were very experienced, the match was already expected to be tough. The fans of Madhya Pradesh were worried that both of them had faced each other in national tournaments on many occasions before this. Earlier, Ritika had defeated Anya on two occasions. Due to this, Ritika had a psychological edge in the final. But Anya learned from her past mistakes and played very aggressively in the match. Watching the match, it seemed that Anya came to the court after closely studying her opponent’s game. Anya was in such an aggressive mood that she did not let Ritika score any points in the first set. Ritika tried to make a comeback in the second set, but could not succeed. Anya Rathi won the match 6-0, 6-3 and won the trophy.
Anya continued this performance and won the doubles final and won her double title. In the girls doubles final, the pair of Anya Rathi and Shravya Sojatiya faced the pair of Anya Khan and Ahana Doshi. In this match, the pair of Anya and Shravya won 6-0, 6-3.
Fierce competition in boys’ category:
In the boys under-12 age group singles final, there was a match between Maharashtra’s Pranav Gaikwad and Madhya Pradesh’s Trishir Dhawan. Trishir won the match 6-3, 6-4 and won the trophy. Both the players tried their best and forced each other to sweat for every point. Trishir took control of the match by scoring points at crucial moments.
Trishir had a chance to win the doubles title, but he missed it. He had reached the finals of the doubles category along with the singles. In the boys 12 age group doubles final, the pair of Trishir Dhawan and Ahaan Jain faced the pair of Hitarth Surana and Meeresh Girdhani. This match was very exciting. The pair of Trishir Dhawan and Ahaan Jain performed very aggressively and won the first set in a one-sided manner 6-1. It seemed that they would win the match easily, but after this Hitarth and Meeresh improved their game and made a comeback. In the end, the pair of Hitarth and Meeresh won the final match 1-6, 7-5, 15-13 and lifted the trophy.
