ED detains Anil-Yash Tuteja

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The Enforcement Directorate on Saturday detained retired IAS Anil Tuteja and Yash Tuteja in the excise scam case. The ED team has left with both of them from the EOW office. It is noteworthy that earlier retired IAS Anil Tuteja and his son Yash Tuteja had reached the EOW office to record their statements in the liquor scam. Both father and son have been made accused in the liquor scam. On receiving information about their being in the EOW office, the ED team also reached the EOW office and took both of them into custody.

According to information received from sources, Tuteja was sent summons for questioning three times before this. On Saturday morning, he reached the EOW headquarters to give his statement. The Additional SP’s team was interrogating Tuteja. However, they have a no corrosive action order from the Supreme Court, so the EOW cannot arrest them. It is understood that the Tuteja father-son duo was called by the EOW in connection with the scrutiny of documents in the investigation.

No corrosive action order from Supreme Court

However, the Supreme Court has somehow dismissed their role in the liquor scam. Anil Tuteja and his son Yash Tuteja have also been ordered to take no corrosive action. But after the Supreme Court dismissed the case, the ED has again registered an FIR in the liquor scam. On the other hand, on the basis of the ED’s report, the EOW of Chhattisgarh has also registered a case.
