2 min read

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): State Congress President Deepak Baij said that the BJP does not have the courage to ask for votes in the Lok Sabha elections on the basis of the work of the Modi government in 10 years, that is why the BJP has put up big hoardings with Narendra Modi’s photo wearing the uniform of the armed forces and appealed for votes. This is the biggest example of the failure of Modi and BJP that the party which has held power in the country for 10 years needs to resort to the uniform of the army to get votes in the elections. This is also an insult to the army. The whole country feels proud of its armies. Since independence, the governments of the country have made continuous efforts to empower their armies, only then today the Indian army is considered one of the best military forces in the world. Asking for votes in the name of the army is also fatal for the democracy of the country. This is the result of the fascist thinking of BJP and Modi.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that wearing army uniform and appealing for votes is like mocking democracy and politicizing the unwavering faith of the people of India in the army. Congress has strongly condemned this act of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has also complained to the State Election Commission and has urged to immediately remove these hoardings of BJP and take strict action against BJP for misusing army uniform.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that if Modi and BJP have courage, they should ask for votes in the name of demonetization, issue posters asking for votes in the name of GST, show courage to ask for votes in the name of reducing unemployment, inflation, doubling the income of farmers. Show courage to ask for votes by releasing the figures of bringing back black money from abroad. If they ask for votes by issuing posters in the name of bringing good days, then the public should answer them.
