1 min read

Bilaspur (Team Newsbuddy): The High Court will hear the petition of former IAS Niranjan Das and businessman Vidhu Gupta on April 25. This petition demands the dismissal of ACB’s FIR. Hearing on two petitions already pending on this issue is scheduled on 25th.

In the petition presented by former Excise Department Commissioner Niranjan Das and Vidhu Gupta, who is associated with a hologram manufacturing company, it is argued that the ED’s ECIR has been rejected by the Supreme Court, and the ED has filed an FIR in ACB on the basis of the rejected ECIR, so the ACB’s FIR does not have legal jurisdiction. Therefore, the ACB’s FIR should be dismissed.

The petitions filed by Anwar Dhebar and Yash Tuteja on the same subject are to be heard on 25 April. On 23 April (Tuesday), when the petition of Niranjan Das and Vidhu Gupta was heard in the court of Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha and Justice Rajni Dubey, the court was informed that the hearing on two other petitions on the same subject is after two days. After this, the High Court directed to hear the petitions of Niranjan Das and Vidhu Gupta along with the petitions of Anwar Dhebar and Yash Tuteja.
