BJYM leader commits suicide by hanging himself, police engaged in investigation
2 min readBhilai (Team Newsbuddy): Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha leader committed suicide by hanging himself in Nandini police station area of Durg district. The incident is said to have taken place between Tuesday afternoon and evening. The BJYM leader sent his wife and son to a wedding ceremony at a relative’s house on Tuesday morning. When both returned in the evening, he had hanged himself in the room. After the information of the incident, Nandini police has registered a case and started investigation.
According to the information received, Shiv Kumar Verma (40), General Secretary of BJYM Ahirwara Mandal, committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday. He lived in the BSP quarters of Nandini Nagar here. On Tuesday, there was a wedding program in his native village Sahgaon Patharia, in which he sent his wife and son to attend. After this, Shivkumar was alone at home. When Shivkumar’s wife and son returned at four in the evening, they saw that the door was open from inside. When both of them reached the room, the wife screamed. Shiv Kumar was hanging from the noose. After this, the wife and children came out screaming. People gathered around and informed the police.
The police reached the spot and after doing the Panchnama, sent the body for post-mortem. Here, the police have also recovered a suicide note from the spot. In the suicide note, the deceased Shiv Kumar wrote that he is committing suicide of his own free will. He himself is responsible for this. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
