US police denies death of Goldie Brar, says news going on media is wrong

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): Punjab’s wanted gangster Goldie Brar is alive. On Wednesday, reports of his death came in the media. After this, the Fresno Police Department in California denied it. That one of the two persons who attacked in the shootout incident was Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar. Fresno Police Department said – there is no truth in the news

Fresno Police Department Lieutenant William J. Dooley said that due to some online chat it is being claimed that the victim of the shootout is Goldie Brar, then we confirm that it is not true at all.

He said that as a result of the information being spread on social media and online news agencies, we have received questions from all over the world. We don’t know who started this rumour, but it took off and spread like wildfire. But it is not true.

The police have not yet identified the two persons who were attacked, one of whom later died in the hospital. The other person was discharged from the hospital after treatment.

The firing took place on Tuesday evening

Two youths were attacked at Fairmont and Holt Avenues in the northwest part of Fresno after a fight on Tuesday evening. News of the firing spread like wildfire in India, claiming that the deceased was gangster Goldy Brar.

Goldy Brar was a resident of Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab. Goldy Brar’s cousin Gurlal Brar was killed in Chandigarh. Gurlal was shot outside a club in Industrial Area Phase-1 on the night of October 11, 2020. He was a student leader of Punjab University.
