Misting system starts at Raipur station.

Passengers are getting cool environment even in scorching heat due to misting machine.

The Divisional Railway Administration is doing better work towards providing better weather-friendly passenger facilities to the passengers at Raipur station. In this context, to provide relief from heat to the passengers on the platforms of stations during summer and to provide the facility of a cool environment, the facility of misting machine installed in platform – 1, platform 2 – 3, platform 5- 6 of Raipur station has been started after testing. To cover the entire platform, pipelines have been laid on both sides of the platform, due to whose fountains the atmosphere of the entire platform has become cool. Water fountains come out from this machine which cools the platform from all sides and provides coolness to the passengers as well as helps in reducing the rising temperature.
With the availability of this facility, passengers are not only getting relief from the scorching heat but they are also feeling a cool atmosphere even in the summer days. Since its launch, passengers coming and going from Raipur station are getting soothing relief on the platform. As soon as the passengers get down from the train, the atmosphere as well as their mood is becoming cool due to the water fountains. This is also being appreciated by the passengers.
