Three Naxalite doctors killed in encounter

Jagdalpur (Team Newsbuddy): Operation ‘Suryashakti’, which was carried out three months ago in Tekmeta area of ​​Abujhmad, has dealt a severe blow to the medical system of Naxalites. Under the anti-Naxal operation, intelligence information was received and new camps of security forces were established. After that, in two major encounters in Abujhmad, the security forces killed three doctors of Naxalites. In the Tekmeta encounter, Naxalite doctor Sangeeta Doge, who had a reward of five lakhs on her head, was killed, while in the Chhotebethiya encounter, Naxalite doctors Rajita and Rita Salame, who had a reward of five lakhs on their heads, were killed. The medical department of Naxalites is active in Abujhmad itself. This department treats old, sick and injured Naxalites. The security forces have also found medicines and medical equipment after the encounter in Tekmeta last Tuesday. Bastar IGP Sundarraj said that Naxalite hospitals are not equipped with modern medical equipment, but they are important inside the forest. Such hospitals have some life saving medicines, some equipments, which include surgical kits, BP machines and fever and painkillers.

Sterilization of Naxalites is also done here. The doctors are not trained but they have importance in the Naxalite system and they are addressed as doctors. The security forces have started putting pressure on Naxalites since the change of power in the state. The strongest base of the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee of Naxalites is in the border areas of Sukma, Bijapur and Dantewada. Here, the operation has been started by setting up 16 new camps to put pressure on the South and West Bastar Division. IGP Bastar Sundarraj P. said, the geographical situation of Abujhmad has become a safe hiding place for Naxalites. Here they run training camps and medical camps. Naxalite hideouts will be destroyed by running continuous campaigns in the area.
