Voting has started at seven in the morning. Voting will be held till six in the evening.

Voters who reached the polling station 279, a polling station located in Lalpur, Raipur, after lining up since morning, created a ruckus due to the slow pace of voting. There is a complaint that the door has been closed from inside.

In Janjgir-Champa, Collector and District Election Officer Akash Chikara along with his wife Dr. Payal Chaudhary reached Adarsh ​​Voting Center, DIET Janjgir and cast their vote. Along with this, SP Vivek Shukla, Deputy District Election Officer Nisha Netam Madavi also cast their vote. After voting, the Collector, SP and other officials reached the selfie zone and took their selfies.

In Korba, polling was halted for 45 minutes due to EVM machine malfunctioning at polling booth 180 of Pump House Atmanand English Medium School. The polling process started after repair work.

Voters are showing tremendous enthusiasm for the Lok Sabha elections in Bilaspur district. Crowds have gathered in all the booths since morning. Last time, less than 100 voters had come to vote in the first hour of the morning at the Government Higher Secondary School polling booth in Shankar Nagar, but this time the number has crossed 500. There is a very good arrangement in the polling booth this time. Voters are being given ORS in view of the heat. Special coolers have been installed for the elderly.

After casting their votes, happiness is visible on the faces of the voters. There is also a competition to take selfies amidst tight security. The situation is almost the same in Shankar Nagar, Bilaspur Railway area and Torwa and Dayalband.
