Raipur: The voting process has been completed on all the seats of Chhattisgarh in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. This time the election has been held in three phases in the state. In the first phase, votes were cast for the only Bastar seat on April 19. In the second phase, voting was held on April 26 for Kanker, Rajnandgaon and Mahasamund. Voting was held on May 7 for the remaining 7 seats. As soon as the voting process ended in the state, most of the leaders kept on removing the election fatigue today, while the tour of big leaders has started for election campaign in other states. Many leaders including former CM Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy CM Arun Sao and BJP State President Kiran Singhdev are on a tour of Odisha . Here, with the end of voting, the round of claims regarding victory has started. BJP is claiming victory on all 11 seats of the state. At the same time, Congress is also saying that there is a strong possibility of victory on 11 seats. In 2019, Congress won Bastar and Korba seats, the remaining 9 seats went to BJP.

Congress will be wiped out: Kiran Dev

BJP state president Kiran Singh Dev has expressed confidence of getting unprecedented public support to the party and said that after giving their full blessings to BJP in the first and second phase of voting in Bastar, Kanker, Rajnandgaon and Mahasamund, now the people of Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa and Surguja Lok Sabha have voted spontaneously in large numbers in favor of BJP for the development of entire Chhattisgarh. Dev said that BJP’s belief is going to come true that Congress is being wiped out on all 11 Lok Sabha seats of the state.
Dev said that voters in large numbers have voted in the Lok Sabha seats of the state and have given a clear message that the whole of Chhattisgarh now wishes to walk in step with the resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of a developed India and a developed Chhattisgarh. On one hand, the people of Chhattisgarh want complete freedom from Naxal violence, while on the other hand they want a BJP government for service, good governance and poor welfare. Dev said that the anger prevailing against the Congress will be expressed in all three phases of voting and will prove to be a blow to the foundations of the Congress. The clear trend of the public angry with the incompetence of the previous Congress government of the state is seen in favor of the BJP.

People voted for change: Deepak Baij

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that there are strong chances of Congress winning all the 11 seats of the state. Congress is winning more seats than the BJP. The people of Chhattisgarh have voted for change. The people voted against inflation, unemployment and breach of promises. People came out of their homes in the scorching heat to the polling booths to bid farewell to the Modi government and voted in favor of the Congress. It was clear from the first two phases that the people of the state are angry with the Modi government. The attitude of the voters in the third and final phase confirmed that the people of the state are upset with the 10 years of misrule and breach of promises of the Modi government. The people had made up their mind to change the condition of the country with their voting power and reached the polling booth and voted against the BJP government. Baij said that just like Chhattisgarh, the atmosphere in the entire country is against the Modi government. The slogan of 400 plus of the Bharatiya Janata Party proved to be hollow. The people understood that the BJP is giving the slogan of 400 plus to change the Constitution. After three phases of voting, the picture has become clear to a great extent. The BJP which gave the slogan of 400 has started panting even before reaching 150.
