Results of High School and Higher Secondary Main Examination declared

75.61 percent of students passed in high school, percentage of girls is 79.35 and percentage of boys is 71.12

59 students made it to top-10 of class 10, Simran Sabba of Jashpur secured first position

20 students included in top-10 list of class 12, Mehak Agarwal of Saraipali secured first position

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education Chairman Renu Pillai declared the results of High School and Higher Secondary Board Examination conducted by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education in the auditorium of the Board. 75.61 percent of students passed in the High School Examination and 80.74 percent in the Higher Secondary Examination.

Pillai congratulated and wished all the successful students and wished them a bright future. He said that failure is the ladder to success, keeping this in mind, the students who have failed should not be disappointed. If you study well again and appear in the exam, you will definitely get success.

There are a total of 59 students in the top-10 of class 10th board examination and 20 students in the top-10 of the merit list of class 12th board examination. In the merit list of class 10th board examination, Simran Sabba of Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium School Jashpur got first place with 99.50 percent marks, Honisha of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Higher Secondary School Kopra District Gariaband got second place with 98.83 percent marks. Similarly, in the merit list of class 12th board examination, Mehak Agarwal of Ivas Woodland English Medium Higher Secondary School Saraipali District got first place by getting 97.40 percent marks and Kopal Ambasht of Guru Ghasidas Government English Medium School District Baloda-Bazar under Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Yojana got second place with 97 percent marks.
3 lakh 45 thousand 686 candidates were registered for the High School Certificate Main Examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education in the year 2024. Out of these, 3 lakh 40 thousand 220 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of which the results of 3 lakh 39 thousand 994 candidates were declared. The number of candidates who passed in the declared examination result is 2 lakh 57 thousand 72. Thus 75.61 percent of the candidates passed. Among these, the percentage of girls passing was 79.35 and that of boys was 71.12. In the declared examination result, 1 lakh 17 thousand 519 (34.56 percent) passed in the first division, 1 lakh 23 thousand 386 (36.29 percent) in the second division and 16 thousand 165 (4.75 percent) students passed in the third division. 2 candidates have passed in the pass category, while 19 thousand 012 candidates have got the eligibility for supplementary. The results of 226 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons, out of which the results of 15 candidates have been withheld due to copying case and the examination applications of 205 candidates have been canceled due to lack of eligibility and the results of 6 candidates have been withheld in the category of investigation.

In the High School Certificate Main Examination year 2023, 3 lakh 30 thousand 681 candidates appeared in the examination. The passing percentage of the candidates appearing was 75.05. Thus, there has been an increase of about 0.56 percent in the examination result this year from last year.

Out of 2 lakh 61 thousand 077 candidates registered in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Main Examination year 2024, 2 lakh 58 thousand 704 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of the declared examination result, the number of candidates who passed is 2 lakh 08 thousand 789 i.e. a total of 80.74 percent candidates passed. In this, the percentage of girls is 83.72 and that of boys is 76.91. In this, 88 thousand 101 (34.07 percent) students have passed in the first division, 1 lakh 09 thousand 185 (42.22 percent) in the second division and 11 thousand 498 (4.45 percent) in the third division. 5 candidates have passed in the pass category.
