Ordered to leave the district within seven days

Durg (Team Newsbuddy): Collector and District Magistrate Richa Prakash Chaudhary has taken action to expel the miscreant Santosh Jha under the statutory provisions of the Chhattisgarh State Security Act 1990 to control the criminal conduct and tendency of the miscreant Santosh Jha and to maintain peace, law and order among the general public. As per the order of the District Magistrate, Santosh Jha (47), resident of Chauhan Town Junwani, has been asked to vacate or leave the boundaries of the revenue district Durg and its bordering districts Raipur, Bemetara, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Rajnandgaon, Balod and Dhamtari districts within one week from the date of passing of the order. Also, miscreant Santosh will be prohibited from entering the boundaries of the said districts without the permission of the District Magistrate for a period of one year from this date.

It should be known that in the report submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Durg, several crimes have been registered against the accused in the police station Durg for assault, abusing people and threatening to kill them and spreading unrest and chaos in the locality in connivance with anti-social elements. Preventive action has also been taken against the accused, yet there has been no reduction in his crime. When the court issued a show cause notice to the accused, he requested to be freed from the district ban case. On which, after providing the opportunity to the miscreant Santosh to defend the prosecution evidence, due to his continuous absence on the case hearing dates, one-sided action was taken against him and his opportunity to support the case was ended. After investigating the non-applicant hearing report, the District Magistrate has taken unilateral action to maintain peace and law and order in the area and has taken action of banishment against the accused.
