Jailed hotelier Anwar Dhebar’s bail rejected

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Hotelier Anwar Dhebar, who is in jail in the liquor scam case worth crores, filed a bail petition in the special court citing health reasons. The hearing took place on Thursday. After hearing the advocates of both the sides, the judge of the ACB-EOW Special Court rejected the bail petition in the evening. At the same time, the special court will pronounce its verdict on Friday after hearing the bail petition filed by the second accused in this case, Trilok Singh Dhillon (Pappu), while the court has extended the judicial remand of former excise officer Arunpati Tripathi, former BSP worker Arvind Singh, Anwar Dhebar and Trilok Singh Dhillon, accused in the liquor scam case, till May 30.

ED will question Anwar Dhebar, Arunpati Tripathi, Trilok Singh Dhillon in jail. ED filed an application for this in the special court on Thursday. The court accepted it and allowed questioning in jail from May 27 to May 31 (five days).
