Tata Steel sales head killer arrested, other killed in encounter

Ghaziabad(Team Newsbuddy): In an encounter between Ghaziabad police and the criminal on Friday night, a criminal with a reward of 50 thousand was arrested after being shot in the leg. He was involved in the murder of India Sales Head of a Tata Steel brand in Shalimar Garden on May 3. His other partner in that case was killed in an encounter on May 10.
Police said that the Kaushambi police station team has arrested the accused with a reward of 50 thousand in an injured condition in an encounter. An illegal weapon and a stolen motorcycle have been recovered from his possession. DCP Trans Hindon has told that on the night of 17-18 May, the police was checking suspicious vehicles. During this time, a bike rider was signaled to stop in Kaushambi area.
The youth started running instead of stopping. When the police chased him, he opened fire on the police. Aamir was injured in the retaliatory action of the police. He has been arrested. During interrogation, he told that he was involved in the murder and robbery of Vinay Tyagi on May 3 along with his partner.
Tyagi was the India Sales Head of Tata Steel’s brand Tata Pravesh. The company manufactures readymade windows and doors for homes under this brand.
Earlier, in Ghaziabad’s Sahibabad police station area, on May 10, in an encounter between the police and two bike-borne miscreants, a miscreant involved in Tyagi’s murder was admitted to the hospital in an injured state after being shot, where he died. The name of the slain accused was Akki alias Daksh, resident of Seelampur.
It is worth noting that when Vinay Tyagi, who lives in Rajendra Nagar area of Ghaziabad, did not reach his home till 11 pm on May 3, the family members started looking for him. The police was also informed about this. His body was found on the roadside three kilometers away from the house around three o’clock in the morning. In the initial investigation, the police came to know that Vinay Tyagi’s laptop, mobile and purse were missing. After which the miscreants were being searched.
