Renaming of schemes reflects mental bankruptcy of government: Congress
2 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): Congress has strongly opposed the renaming of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana by the Say Government. State Congress President Deepak Baij said that this is the low level political thinking of BJP. The previous Congress government had started Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana for the welfare of agricultural landless laborers and rural people working in Pauni Pasari. Under which, landless villagers were first given Rs 7000 annually and later Rs 10,000 annually. It is unfortunate that the Say government could not start any new scheme for public welfare in 5 months and changed the name of the old government’s scheme to Deendayal Bhumiheen Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. A conspiracy is also being hatched to separate the people of Pauni Pasari from this scheme. Changing the names of schemes shows the mental bankruptcy of the government. The BJP government, which could not start even a single basic scheme in 5 months, is now changing the name.
Deepak Baij said that after the formation of BJP government in Chhattisgarh, public welfare schemes have died down. The fourth installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana given to the farmers was not given. Gauthans were closed due to which more than 27 lakh sisters who used to work in Gauthans through self-help groups became unemployed. More than 13800 Rajiv Yuva Mitra Clubs were closed due to which the assistance of Rs. 1 lakh for the all-round development of the youth was stopped. The unemployment allowance given to unemployed youth was stopped. Godhan Nyay Yojana and cow dung purchase were stopped. The process of closing the “RIPA” Rural Industrial Park run for the rural employment scheme has started.
