MD of Swachh Bharat Mission, Panchayat Director visit MRF Center

Jagdalpur: MD of Chhattisgarh Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, Chandan Tripathi, Panchayat Director Priyanka Mahobia inspected the Material Recycle Facility Center located at Burund Semra. On this occasion, an attempt was made to understand the recycling project of plastic materials in Bastar and to explore the possibilities of implementing similar projects in other districts of Chhattisgarh. Both the officials got information about the garbage collection, separation of garbage in the MRF Center as well as the activities conducted in the institution.

The officials interacted with the Safai Mitras working in the institution, discussed their work in the MRF Center and the changes in their lives due to the opening of the MRF Center. They expressed interest in organizing a state level SBM workshop based on the plan of Bastar’s Recycle Center. On this occasion, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Prakash Surve, CEO of District Jagdalpur Amit Bhatia, District and SBM team were present.
