On Sunday, the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian has crashed.
Iran’s Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said President Raisi and Foreign Minister were also aboard the helicopter.
A massive search operation has been carried out since the accident.
During the search operation for Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Turkey’s drone has found out where the helicopter crashed.
According to the news agency Anadolu, Turkey had sent a drone to help in the search operation for President Raisi’s helicopter crash.
The footage released by the agency shows black marks on a hill at night.
According to the agency, whatever information has been obtained from the footage has been shared with the Iranian authorities.
Iran’s Home Minister Ahmed Vahidi has confirmed that President Raisi and the Foreign Minister were on board the helicopter.
Many other people including Malik Rahmati, the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, were also on board this helicopter.
This helicopter is one of the three helicopters running in the convoy.
A massive search operation has been going on since Sunday to find President Raisi.
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei has said that Iran’s administration will not be affected by this accident.
Leaders from around the world, including India, have prayed for the safety of the Iranian President.

India’s PM Narendra Modi said, “The news coming about President Raisi’s helicopter flight today has caused deep concern. We stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in this hour of crisis and wish the President and his team well.”
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said in a statement, “Heard the disturbing news from Iran about the helicopter of Honorable President Syed Ibrahim Raisi. I am waiting for good news with great concern that everything is fine. Our prayers and best wishes are with Honorable President Raisi and the entire Iranian nation.”
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, reacting to the accident, has said that he is deeply upset by the news of the helicopter crash.
Before taking off, President Ibrahim Raisi inaugurated a dam on the border of the two countries along with the President of Azerbaijan.
President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is ready to provide all possible help to Iran in this hour of crisis.
