Chhattisgarh Chapter of Institute of Public Auditors of India begins

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The Chhattisgarh Chapter of the Institute of Public Auditors of India (IPAI) was inaugurated by Yashwant Kumar, Principal Accountant General (Audit), Chhattisgarh. Yashwant Kumar is also the ex-officio President of IPAI-Chhattisgarh Chapter. The work of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh was coordinated and was till now being conducted by Madhya Pradesh Chapter, Bhopal.

It is worth noting that the Institute of Public Auditors of India (IPAI) was established in the year 1966 as a society, which includes expert services in the public sector accounting, auditing and public finance sectors. This institution providing professional services across the country has 18 regional offices and more than 2600 members.

At present Girish Chandra Murmu, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, is the ex-officio Patron of IPAI and Dr. Subhash Chandra Pandey (Retd. IAS), former Special Secretary to the Government of India is the Chairman.

Serving and retired officers of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS), Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICS), Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), Indian Economic Service (IES), Indian Statistical Service (ISS), Senior Audit Officers of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Senior Accounts Officer cadre are the members of the Institute of Public Auditors of India (IPAI).
