Kawardha accident: 19 bodies cremated together

The Chhattisgarh government has decided to give assistance of ₹ 5 lakh to the families of the deceased and 50 thousand to the people injured in the accident. Giving information about this in his social media account X, CM Sai wrote, the death toll in the road accident in Kabirdham district has risen to 19. 3 people are injured.

Deputy CM Sharma said that in this hour of grief, the Chhattisgarh government is fully standing with the affected families. We have decided to provide Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured in this accident. This amount is in addition to the assistance provided by the administration and the amount received from insurance etc. The administration has also been instructed to take extra care of road safety. Every possible measure should be taken to prevent such accidents.
