Magisterial inquiry of Bemetara blast begins, report to be submitted within 45 days

Bemetara (Team Newsbuddy): The exact number of people killed in the massive blast at the gunpowder factory located in village Pirda of Berla block of the district has not been ascertained yet. Preparations are underway to conduct DNA testing of the body parts seized from the spot. Meanwhile, magisterial inquiry into the entire matter has started. The responsibility of investigation has been given to SDM Pinky Manhar of the district.

The government has fixed 4 points for the judicial inquiry into the block in the gunpowder factory. The SDM will first investigate the causes of the accident in her investigation report. The second point of investigation is related to the investigation of the factory’s license and security arrangements there. In this, it will be investigated what was the status of testing, license, storage use of the protective measures taken there by the factory management. The third point of the investigation is to fix responsibility. In this, if there is any mistake or negligence for the accident or explosion, then responsibility is determined.
