Safety seminar held for safe operation of trains in SECR Raipur Division.

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The Safety Department of South East Central Railway Raipur Railway Division organized a safety seminar at Officers Rest House / BMY with the employees of Operations, Electrical Operations, TRD, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunication and Engineering Department for the safe operation of trains. In which the following points were discussed-

Precautions to be taken to avoid spade, precautions to be taken during shunting, failure of signal and point and precautions to be taken by signal and operating staff while working in the relay room, safety of summer petroleum and work area, identification and prevention of uneven loading hot axle and brake winding, precautions to be taken while working in power block and more than one machine in the same block section, use and demonstration of fire extinguisher and demonstration of first aid box.

In this safety seminar, Trinath Mohanty, Safety Advisor/Electrical, Shankar Lal Patel, Safety Advisor/Signal & Telecommunication, Bhupesh Sahu, Safety Advisor/Mechanical along with CDTI/ Verma, CLI/BMY Taram and Training School Instructor/ Bagdekar played an important role. Safety Organization/Raipur Division organizes 2 safety seminars every month at various stations of Raipur Division, so that employees can be made aware of safety while working. A total of 82 people including safety advisors, supervisors and field employees participated in the said safety seminar.
