There is so much heat in many districts that it is becoming difficult for people to live. The whole of Chhattisgarh is currently battling heatwave. Not only are people troubled by this year’s heat, but people are also dying. Amidst all this, the Raipur Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for today and tomorrow.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in many districts regarding the heatwave. In the next 24 hours, Balodabazar, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Janjgir Champa, Khairagarh Chhuikhadan, Korba, Korea, Mahasamund, Manendragarh, Raipur, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon, Sakti, Sarangarh, Surajpur are in the grip of heatwave for the next 24 hours.
Vishnu government is also alert
For almost a week, there has been severe heat in entire Chhattisgarh. There have been reports of deaths due to fire and heat wave at many places. In such a situation, the government is now on alert mode to prevent such incidents. CM Vishnudev Sai has instructed all the organizations to ensure the availability of fire fighters.
The CM informed on the social media site x that, the officials have been instructed to check the fire fighters. CM has written that, in view of the scorching heat, strict instructions have been given to the officers to inspect all the government offices, small and big industries, hotels, multi-storey buildings, malls, gaming zones, temporary exhibitions, petrol pumps etc. of the state and ensure the facilities of fire extinguishers.
Be prepared for emergency
All the institution operators are requested to ensure the presence of fire extinguishers in their establishments. Also inspect and test them from time to time. So that the situation can be controlled immediately in an emergency and loss of life can be avoided.
