Planning to control TB in coal mines area
1 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): Discussion and planning of TB free India was done with the senior officials of the special hospital for the employees working in the coal mines in Bishrampur. District Tuberculosis Eradication Center Surajpur Sanjeet Kumar, Mahendra Tiwari and Raj Narayan Dwivedi of Piramal Foundation discussed with Dr Niranjan to speed up the TB eradication program.
Dr Niranjan said that community participation is necessary for TB eradication. Only those who are in trouble come to the hospital, the doctor gives medicine according to their disease, but when it comes to eradicating TB from the root, TB free India will not be created by just treating the patient. The people of the community have to understand that one TB patient spreads it to ten to fifteen people, so it can be done with community participation.
