Central Govt Offices in Raipur hosts Rajbhasha workshop, blood donation camp on World Blood Donor Day

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): A joint Hindi Rajbhasha workshop has been organized under the aegis of the City Official Language Implementation Committee (NARAKAS) at Rajiv Gandhi National Groundwater Training and Research Institute, Raipur. More than 30 officials from 6 offices – Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Rajiv Gandhi National Groundwater Training and Research Institute, Bureau of Civil Aviation, MSTC, Central Integrated Pesticide Management Center, Inter State Police Wireless Center participated in this workshop.

While presiding over the workshop, Nidhish Verma, Regional Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training and Research Institute said that Chhattisgarh state falls in Hindi speaking region, thus, it is imperative to promote the Rajbhasha Hindi and enhance the working capacity of the officials. He further said that such workshops establish cooperation, coordination and unity in the workplace.

Neeraj Kumar Singh, Assistant Director and Head, Central Integrated Pesticide Management Center said that Hindi language is very important and useful for a state like Chhattisgarh. All the documents of the office are made in Hindi language which is greatly benefiting the common people. He further said that such Hindi Rajbhasha workshops assist us in improving our day to day activities.

Gopal Prasad, Assistant Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training and Research Institute discussed the intricacies of writing official report and noting/drafting specially in Hindi.

Abhishek Prakash, Translation Officer, Central Bureau of Investigation, apprised about Kanthastha 2.0, a translation tool of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He further said that this system based on translation memory, translation from English to Hindi and from Hindi to English can be done.

In addition, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a blood donation camp was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Raipur, in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Groundwater Training and Research Institute, Raipur in which more than 25 officers successfully donated blood. Nidhish Verma, Regional Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Groundwater Training and Research Institute administered the blood donor oath to all the officers.

Arpit Tiwari, District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra said that Nehru Yuva Kendra organizes blood donation camp every year. He further said that 01 unit of blood can save upto 04 lives. Besides, donating blood increases one’s immunity, purifies your blood and also reduces the chances of heart attack. He further apprised that any healthy person of age 18-60 year can donate blood it.
