Retired judge of CG High Court to conduct judicial inquiry

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy) : Taking seriously the incident of damage to the Jaitkhambh in Amar Cave located in village Mahkoni of Giraudhapuri Dham, the state government has appointed a retired judge of Chhattisgarh High Court as the investigating officer. The state government has issued an order for a single-member judicial inquiry to investigate 6 points. A single-member team of retired judge of Chhattisgarh High Court, CB Bajpai, will investigate this incident and submit its report to the state government within 3 months.
It is noteworthy that on the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Home Minister Vijay Sharma had announced a judicial inquiry in Balodabazar last day when the Jaitkhambh was damaged in Amar Cave located in village Mahkoni of Giraudhapuri Dham in Balodabazar district on the night of 15 and 16 May 2024. On the announcement of the Home Minister Taking immediate action, the State Government constituted a single member team of retired High Court Judge C.B. Bajpai to investigate the incident and submit its report to the State Government within 3 months.
