Asmita Khelo India Women’s League competition begins

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The responsibility of organizing the national level Asmita Khelo India Women’s League Weightlifting Competition has been entrusted to the State Weightlifting Association, Indore by the Ministry of Sports, Government of India, Sports Authority of India and Indian Weightlifting Association. The competition is being organized from 17 to 21 June 2024 at Shriram Gym, Robot Square Indore.
The organizing committee chairman Dinesh Sonagara said that the competition will be inaugurated on Monday, June 17 at 6 pm. Whose chief guests will be MP Olympic Association President Mr. Ramesh Mendola, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Mahendra Hardia. A special event of Sunderkand has also been organized on the occasion of inauguration. Organizing Secretary Vipin Patidar said that Indore has got the responsibility of organizing this competition, a special indoor hall has been prepared for the competition. Preparations for this competition have been made as per international rules. Players and officials have started arriving for the competition. The competition will be played in youth, junior and senior women’s categories. There are a total of 10 weight categories in it.
