Indore (Team Newsbuddy): The 83rd summer camp of Prakash Hockey Club, which is known as the oldest nursery of the national game hockey in the state, ended with the honoring of talented players and dedicated coaches.
Club secretary Devkinandan Silawat said that during the two-month camp, the players were given completely free training. During the camp at the practice ground in front of Daly College, the players were taught the techniques of modern and traditional styles of hockey under the guidance of former international player Mirranjan Negi, NIS coach Ashok Yadav and Sarwar Khan. On the occasion of the closing of the camp, all the coaches were honored and thanked. Hockey sticks, T-shirts and other sports materials and tiffin boxes were distributed to the talented players. Players who perform well during the camp will be provided high level training throughout the year.
The chief guests of the program were Additional Superintendent of Police Traffic Santosh Kaul, Chief Forest Conservator Bhopal Prafull Jale, Superintendent of Netra Eye Hospital DK Sharma, retired Assistant Commissioner Shrikant Borkar, Dr. Mandakini Silawat, Vinita Negi, Ashish Tiwari and Badal Vyas. Guests were welcomed by Prem Prajapat, Chunky Kumawat, Balkishan Raikwar, Dr. Rafiq Khan, Rehan Ansari, Neeraj Tandon, NIS coach Shailendra Verma, Dr. Suresh Malviya, Sandeep Verma, Wasim Khan, Bunty Yadav, Rajesh Makwana. The program was conducted by Prathameshraje Silawat. Halim Khan expressed his gratitude.
