Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The cancellation of express trains passing through Raipur is not stopping. Citing expansion in services and facilities, the Railways has once again canceled 50 trains passing through Chhattisgarh, increasing the trouble of the passengers. The canceled trains will not run on different days from 19 June to 10 July. Due to this, the trouble of passengers going to states like Kolkata, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc. has increased once again. The trouble of passengers is increasing due to the block on the railway block. In fact, doubling of new tracks and adding new railway line is proposed in Bilaspur and Bhopal divisions. Due to this, more than 50 trains were suddenly canceled by the Railways, while many trains have been announced to be delayed and many trains to be terminated midway.

Passengers troubled by railway block in scorching heat

Thousands of passengers are facing trouble daily due to railway block in scorching heat. The trains that are running amidst the cancellation of trains are also facing delays for hours, due to which passengers are forced to travel somehow. The situation is such that the floor of the platform and the waiting hall in Raipur railway station is not enough for passengers to sit. The condition of the air-conditioned waiting room is also the same. Passengers are troubled for the last several months due to the lack of timely arrival and departure of trains. Most of the express trains are reaching the station with a delay of six to seven hours.

Tickets booked two to three months ago, still no relief

According to officials, the route of Gondia-Barauni Express has been changed due to the block of Katni railway line. The railway is running this train via Balaghat, Jabalpur, Katni, whereas before the block, this train used to run via Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur. In such a situation, the passengers who have made reservations two to three months in advance, have to travel extra to Gondia station to catch this train.
