BJP does not want the reserved classes to get their rights

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): Due to the negligence of the BJP government, the employees of Scheduled Castes and Tribes have been deprived of the benefits of reservation in promotion. State Congress President Deepak Baij said that the High Court had issued a notification on 22 and 30 October 2019 regarding reservation by the previous Congress government, in which the promotion quota was determined, in which provision was made for 13 percent reservation for Scheduled Caste employees from class 1 to class 4 and 32 percent reservation for Scheduled Tribe employees. Against which some people had filed a PIL in the High Court, but the current BJP government did not put the correct facts regarding reservation in this matter before the court, due to which the court cancelled the notification issued during the Congress government and the employees of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category have suffered a great loss. Due to the negligence of the government, reservation in promotion of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe was stopped in the High Court.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is against the reservation of deprived classes and whenever it gets an opportunity, it conspires to end the reservation. The Bhupesh government of Congress had made a provision of reservation for all the communities of Chhattisgarh in proportion to their population, for this the Reservation Amendment Bill was passed unanimously from the Assembly, in which there is a provision of 13 percent reservation for Scheduled Caste, 32 percent for Scheduled Tribe, 27 percent for backward class and 4 percent reservation for the poor of unreserved category. The BJP has kept this reservation bill on hold in the Raj Bhavan for 17 months. There is a double engine BJP government in the state, there is no reason to hold up the reservation bill in the Raj Bhavan. If the BJP wanted to give the reserved classes their rights, the deprived classes would have started getting their reservation rights by now.
