Saurabh Nirvani meets Food Minister Baghel, hails increase in support price of paddy

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The central government has approved the minimum support price of 14 crops for the Kharif season, this decision was taken in the cabinet meeting, the government says that the purpose of increasing the MSP is to get farmers a better price for their produce and make the agriculture sector more profitable, MSP is a minimum price fixed by the central government, on which the government guarantees to buy the produce from the farmers. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave information on the decisions of the Union Cabinet. He said, ‘A very important decision has been taken in the cabinet for farmer welfare, the cabinet has approved MSP on 14 crops for Kharif crop, the new MSP of paddy has been made Rs 2,300 which is Rs 117 more than the previous MSP,

With the increase in the minimum support price of paddy in Chhattisgarh, the farmers of the state will now be paid by the state government at the rate of Rs 3217 per quintal,

All India Chhattisgarhi Mahasabha coordinator Dr Saurabh Nirvani met Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel and expressed gratitude to the central government,

Minister Baghel said that in the double engine government, the people of the state will also get double the benefit, there is a wave of happiness among the farmers in the agriculture-dominated state, and Chief Minister Sai’s government also gives money together,
not by hanging like previous Congress.
Sai government has always works to benefit farmers. BJP government is focus to improve the situation and conditions of paddy farmers.
