SAI Rajnandgaon beats Sports Academy Raipur by 11-0 goals, enters semi-finals

Chhattisgarh Hockey Sub Junior Boys/Girls Hockey Competition

Rajnandgaon (Team Newsbuddy): In the first match played today in the girls category, host Hockey team Rajnandgaon defeated Hockey Janjgir Champa by 10-0 goals and registered a win. In the second match, Hockey Durg defeated Hockey Dhamtari by 6-0. In the third match, Hockey Bemetara defeated Hockey Bilaspur by 4-3 and in the fourth match, Sai Rajnandgaon defeated Sports Hockey Academy Raipur by 11-0 goals and made it to the semi-finals.

During the match today, Naresh Dakliya (former mayor), Qutubuddin Solanki, senior hockey player, Firoz Ansari, President, Chhattisgarh Hockey, Bhushan Saw, Asha Thomas, Treasurer, Chhattisgarh Hockey, Shiva Chaubey, Janaki Khuswah, Anuraaj Shrivastava, Mrinal Chaubey, . Rashmi Sandhya, Hockey Coach, Yogesh Dwivedi, Mr. Bunty Bhatia introduced themselves to the players and congratulated and wished them all the best.

In the first match of the girls category played in the morning on the second day of the Chhattisgarh Hockey Sub Junior Boys and Girls Hockey Competition being played at the International Astroturf Hockey Stadium, the host Hockey team Rajnandgaon defeated Hockey Dhamtari in a one sided match by 10-0 goals. Hockey Rajnandgaon was seen playing an aggressive innings from the beginning itself. In the 6th minute of the match, Hockey Rajnandgaon took the lead by scoring 1 goal. From Hockey Rajnandgaon’s side, Simran scored 7 goals, Kesrani, Rashi, and Rupa scored one goal each. In today’s second match, Hockey Durg defeated Hockey Dhamtari by 6-0 goals. Hockey Durg displayed a brilliant game and in the very first minute of the match, Hockey Durg’s Yukti scored a goal and took a 1 goal lead. From Hockey Durg’s side, Yukti, Sonakshi, Ananya all scored two goals each and won by 6-0 goals and entered the next round.
